West has been a family affair for me since my sister Tiya and I both played varsity in the 'orange and black' during the late 80's/early 90's. Both the girls and boys programs have had successful seasons over the years, the girls winning 2 Cook Inlet Conference titles and reaching the region final 10 times and the boys winning 4 titles and reaching the region final 11 times. I had the opportunity to be a part of 2 of those winning teams, and let me say that it is truly an honor to be back here coaching at West. Laef Eggan, Varsity Boys Head Coach.
